Fountain Pens :-)

I just recently cleaned out and filled a Pelikan fountain pen I've had sitting around, and I've really enjoyed writing with it. There is definitely a different feedback from the nib, something that you don't get from a gel or liquid Ink pen. I'm not sure I'm happy carrying around an expensive fountain pen daily, but I enjoy writing with it much more than I like the more inexpensive pens.

You might want to try the Platinum Preppy Fountain Pen. About $3, refillable and comes in a couple of colors. I just got one and am having a lot of fun with it.

there are a whole host of inexpensive fountain pens. One place to look is "isellpens.com." (No affiliation, just a satisfied customer)
Warning, fountain pens can become addictive.

You need to treat yourself to a Pilot Varsity "disposable" fountain pen. I buy them in a 3-pack at the local Staples store for $5.98. That's only $2 each! The pack includes black, blue, and purple. They're also sold individually, in 2-packs of the same color, and in a 7-pack that includes two colors that aren't available in any other way. If any readers are Pilot Varsity fans, please look for my Pilot Varsity Fountain Pen group on Facebook. Come join the fun!

I have been using a number of "Pelikan Future" fountain pens in different colors for years. Less than $20 each they feature Pelikan's best in class ink supply system.
