I've had enough with the Pilot G2 on a Moleskine, the scratchy writing is enough to drive me up a wall. I'm back to the Uni-Ball for daily writing in a Moleskine.

I agree 100%. I find the G2 retractable to wobble at the tip and is actually sort of noisy when it scratches out its ink onto my Moleskine. If the physical act of writing is distracting, it becomes difficult to focus on the content you are attempting to produce. I like the fisher bullet for jotting, but find the grip uncomfortable and speed a little off (Large Hands). After spending enough on disposable pens to buy a nice Montblanc, I have found the best for flow, fast drying (I'm a lefty), stability and noise to be the Zebra Sarasa 0.7.
